Is QT 6.0 strictly for OS 10++++?

Sybil, As David has already said there is a version of OT 6.x for OS 9.x .Be careful as QT 6 doesn't play VCD files nor CD's. QT 5.x does play those files. So once you install QT 6.0 you have to buy Mac VCD in order to play VCD's. QT 6.0 plays SVCD's and mpeg2 files but you have to buy mpeg2 plug in from Apple $19.95.It also plays the new mpeg4 files. So newer isn't always better ;-) A nice thing about OS 9.x it is possible to have both Qt 5 & 6 on the machine and use which ever you need for the files you want to play. Sadly not possible to use QT 5.x in OSX Jaguar as far as I know. Will S
