In advance let me apologize if these questions have been covered in here lately. I haven't been keeping up with this list as well as I should.
I'm about to give up on upgrading my Umax C600 and close the box on it forever. I've got a Sonnet G3/400 card in it as well as a few other upgrades that really don't matter for this subject. The last pieces of hardware I want to install before I do so are a Sonnet "Tempo Trio" PCI card for a new hard disc controller and USB/Firewire all in one slot. Has anyone had any negative experience with these? I'm also going to replace the aging drive with a much larger/faster one. I don't really think I need advice on that, bt if you have any I'd be appreciative of course. I'm just wondering though if I should go ahead and add a better videocard while I'm at it. Currently installed is an ATI VR128 w/16megs of ram. It's not quite up to the task sometimes and I don't use the TV capabilities at all anymore.
