Thanks Richard, Shawn, Bruce, & Everyone, It turns out that my jack is somewhat disconnected. I have to open up my hardrive and have a look at it. When I stick the mic. into the jack, it sounds like it wants to connect, hence me being able to hear my voice in the mic. briefly. Then it just disconnects for no reason. Have tried this with the other 2 mics that I have. Same thing.
