"Simply put", I wouldn't do it - but that's just an opinion.
However, there are a handful of listers who are running the Radeon 7000 card
in various SuperMac machines. Not sure how many in a C600, though.

Alan,

Although graphics cards are not cheap, sometimes you are forced to upgrade. Ron's C600 came with one of the 17" AppleVisions monitors. When the AppleVisions passed away a year or so ago, he bought a new monitor. We could only get one resolution out of the new monitor, using the original Matrox Mystique (? spelling) card that came in the C600. We have no regrets about buying the Radeon card.

I did have to rely on Will (or maybe it was Ford or Tony) to walk me through the various extensions to copy from an OS 9.2 system folder, to put in the C600's OS 9.1 folder, to be able to take advantage of all the benefits of the Radeon.
