I have to agree in my very unscientific tests that Safari seems quicker that
other browsers, especially downloading via ftp protocol.

However, I occasionally run across a page that leaves Safari scratching its
head and all I get is a blank page.  If I hit refresh, it usually brings the
page up.  Anyone else encounter this?
