Any truth to that? ----- I've had a 3-port MachFire card in slot 3 for little over a year with a 60-gb EZQuest connected. The EZQuest came with Hard Disk Speed Tools because Drive Setup doesn't work. In HDST there is a control panel that allows the user to tweak various speeds and I had to notch it down one step. Other then that, works flawlessly. My only advice is to try the HDST control panel before you start moving the PCI card around in different slots when you start having problems.
