Greetings all,
I've tried two 64 mb and one 32 mb RAM chips individually in a C500 bare-bones that came with 24 mb installed (16 on the logic board, 8 DIMM in one slot). Installation of any of these chips results in a system crash during boot, with a "bus error." These chips work just fine in a C600, which is the same logic board. Any suggestions as to what might be going on with the C500?I'm running System 9.
Sounds like bad RAM slots. Could be why they were selling it....
