Try this - maybe it will work. Turn off ALL Iomega extensions. Try using the Zip drive as just another SCSI device (on SCSI ID 5 or 6). After booting up with the disc inserted (maybe another disc that's not so important) see it it will mount. If not, see if you can see it with Drive Setup or something Hard Disc Speed Tools, FWB Mounter, or SCSI Probe.
