Dear listers -
I am in the market for a Firewire compact flash card reader. The S900 has a 3-port MachFire Firewire PCI card which has been working fine for my external Firewire hard drive. The connections are for 6-pin cables. Many of the Firewire card readers are 6-pin and require power from the Firewire port. They do not come with a A/C transformer block. Are any of you running Firewire devices that draw power from Firewire PCI cards ? Although the 6 pin ports are suppose to provide power, I would like to make sure before ordering. Thanks for any insight. Alan -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
