Wow, seven years...mine just entered its sixth.
You could keep it and use as an Internet appliance or a second workstation.
Also, it may be your saving grace when you need a legacy environment for a
particular task.
Everything is paid for and functioning fine - maybe it could be networked
somewhere in a far-flung corner of your house ?
Also, a second/older computer is nice to have around for keeping other folks
off your main computer.
"Hey, can I check my e-mail real quick ?"
"Can I play my Blues Clues CD ?"

Congrats on the G5 - I am very jealous.
