Hi, one more from me on this. Saw something go by the other day about only booting a C500 from an original Umax system CD. I have that, and I also have Norton Utilities version 5, both of which I believe I can boot from. The CD drive is the original one. I had planned to use the Norton disc to boot from for installing & formatting the new HD. Any reason I should go the other way?
