Has anyone tried installing Panther on an S900 with a Sonnet Crescendo G4 card? Sonnet's "Statement of Compatibility" doesn't say it will work, but it doesn't say that it won't, either. Since I have Jaguar working reasonably well, I'd rather not mess with it just to find out that it's not compatible!

It runs fine here. I used XPostFacto to install it. S900, Sonnet G4/450, flashed PC Radeon 7000 card, 688 megs RAM, 3 SCSI hard drives. Just did the 10.3.2 update yesterday, no problems.

The installl took about 2 hours, since the cache on the G4 CPU was not initialized yet. I used the PowerLogix Cache Control X 2.1 to enable it after the install.

Dan
