Howdy, I'm afraid I'm back. I dunno if this relates to the HD installation I
completed last night or the game installation that followed. But: I can't
boot from the CD now. I hold down the C key while it's starting, and when I
get to the CD-ROM portion I get the following message: "CD-ROM ToolKit will
not be able to support one of your CD-ROM drives because it is already
handled by another CD-ROM driver. You should disable the conflicting
extension or use the CD-ROM ToolKit Application to de-select the drives in
conflict." I click OK and things go on as usual except the CD-ROM drive icon
has a question mark as it goes by in the boot process. What I'm tryingto do
is boot from the Norton CD (which I have done happily in the past) in order
to clean up the new HD after its installation. I also can't find anything
called CD-ROM ToolKit, and I don't think there were any extensions the game
installed but I could be way wrong there.

So what's this all about?

C500, 8.6, 144mb, G3/280, same old original CD-ROM drive.
