Hi, When I put discs into my CD-ROM drive, they won't show up on the desktop. I have a C500, MacOS 9.0.4, and I use the FWB CD-ROM Toolkit, version 3.0.2d. I started having problems with the drive after I upgraded the system to 9.1. I eventually put my old 9.0.4 system back on. The CD drive still didn't work. I've tried a variety of things, including trashing the Toolkit preference file, and turning off the Apple CD/DVD driver. When I trashed the prefs, the CDs would mount again, but if I put a "home-made" CD-R in, the drive would get messed up again. It also got it to work if I added a CD to the cache. Not anymore. Now, no matter what I do, or what kind of disc I put in, it doesn't work. (I don't have the original installer disk for Toolkit, just a backup copy of the program on my hard drive.) Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks, Drew
