I have bought a new G4 shortly before christmas, and now I have a Panther DVD. Just for fun, I would like to try to install 10.3 on my old Umas c600/Apus 3000, which has a DVD drive and 10.2.8 on it. This I installed by creating a disc image of the Jaguar install CD-ROM and using Apple Software Restore to copy it on a dedicated partition on my hard drive. With this cloned "install CD" I went further. However, this method does not work with the Panther DVD because disc copy tells me that it cannot create images bigger than 2 GB. Does anyone knows of a method to disc imaging DVDs in OS 9?
Any hint is appreciated!
Nils
