I successfully upgraded my J700 to a 32MB Radeon for Mac. I took out my twin turbo card and I wanted to install it in a beige G3 that I have in my classroom. I installed it and I loaded my Twin Turbo software from the UMAX install disk. I am getting a bomb on startup. It says "Sorry, a system error has occured. Bus error. To temporarily turn off extensions, restart and hold down the shift key."
The odd thing is that I can see all of the extension icons load. All of the icons of the extensions that are turned on show up. Virex is the last icon and it shows up. When I turn off Virex, the one right before Virex shows up. So I think it is getting through all of the extensions. I can see jumpers on the Twin Turbo. Do I have to reset the jumpers? If so, does anyone know the proper jumper settings? Any other suggestions? -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
