Thank you for the lucid explanation of Single Ended versus Differential. It seems as if I bought the right cable and terminator, I am going to try it with a different drive. You are right though about the 80 pin SCA drives. They are not worth the headaches. It's sad that only the more expensive 68 pin drives are available now.
Any advice on OS 10.3 on the S-900? I've been fooling with my son's G-4 Yikes with Panther and I am ready to take the jump with installing it. Will take your advice about installing a separate USB board. Have your or anyone else experience with USB 2 with OS 10.x on the S-900?
