I did some quick tests of a Toshiba R5002 (2X) DVD-R/-RW with Toast 
5.2.1, an VST UltraTek/66 IDE card and OS 9.2.2. I could play DVDs 
(with DVD player patch and Intech CD/DVD drivers) and burn/copy 
unprotected DVDs in Toast.
