Hi Jerry,

There is nothing specific that the S900 requires, but a great deal of
variation in the Zip drives themselves. Unfortunately, there's no serial
number range or such to know in advance just exactly what one will get until
one tries it.

What you need is an internal SCSI drive, unless you have an IDE bus or
external enclosure you want to put it into.

Over the years, I've bought several of them and have found that some are
bootable, and others are not. The ones that are not are really fussy about
having media in the drive at start up, yet do not always consistently eject
the disks at shut down. They also, coincidentally, have the emergency eject
slot at the rear of the drive in stead of the front, so the case needs to be
opened if a disk gets stuck.
