Well in case anybody was putting some thought into my situation, don't worry about it.
I was able to fix it by resetting the Password using the installer. (Thanks to Will's prior assist). (Repair of Privileges also didn't help) I still can't figure out what provoked the issue in the first place, but 'Oh Well', at least it works again. So maybe if somebody else comes across this error, my experience and fix will help.
