Well I guess I panicked in my earlier post. I reinitialized the drive that
was not being recognized and it was mounted as a result of the
initialization process. And then, using my regular set of Extensions
(instead of mac ALL) settings on the original SCSI drive of my S900 I was
able to install OS9.1 from the installation CD w/o a hitch onto the newly
partitioned IDE drive. Wish I totally understood all that took place, but am
thankful that the operation was eventually successful. Will be interested in
any observances anyone has to offer. Thanks.
