Ever since I installed a Pioneer DVD burner and an ATA133 card to run it in my S900 I can't get my emergency start up CD's to boot. They show up on the desk top fine and are otherwise OK. I also have a Yamaha CD burner on top that will not burn CD's anymore but works fine as a CD reader. I can't boot from that one either. I've booted many times with these CD's previously to do my routine maintenance. I tried making new boot disks with Toast, following the instructions to the letter. Still no go. Anybody know what's going on? What happened to my bootability? Thanks, Bob Robeson >> Do a search for "finder". You may have some that you are not aware of that will cause this problem. I am one such person that had this problem-not related to burner though. Sybil -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
