Hi, everyone - Following a number of requests for the Mac OS Licensing Extension and other trinkets, I was seriously looking at a private server and dedicated web hosting for the SuperMac Insider site. The cons quickly outweighed the pros, however, and I've decided to instead make better use of what I've already got.
I just picked up a new 15" PowerBook G4 to let me make better use of the 2.5 hours I now spend each day commuting on the train. Among other things, I'll be using it to update the SuperMac Insider site much more frequently, uploading the changes when I get to work or home each day. The HTML version of Jeff's updated power supply conversion guide will go up later this evening. Rather than attempt to host the Umax software from my Earthlink or .Mac accounts, I'm going to create a software index page that points to the now-returned Umax FTP site. This will be posted within the Support section in the next few days. I again encourage everyone to download EVERYTHING they might need from this site a.s.a.p. Knowing Umax, it could all go away again without notice. Thanks for reading. -Kennedy Brandt http://home.earthlink.net/~supermac_insider/ -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
