Hi Jim, Apple System Profiler (ASP) is not particularly reliable when it comes to accurately recognizing hardware, especially with non-Apple-branded computers, aka clones. Notice that it refers to the processor as an "Unknown type"--apparently this version of ASP is not even aware of what a G4 processor is. Even on a "real" Mac, the results displayed on the "Devices" tab of ASP can vary from suspicious to comical. A recent version of a utlity from one of the accelerator makers would be more accurate about how your rig is performing. Peace, paul -- Paul F.
