Drives will eventually reach a point of requiring reformatting and
'eliminating' bad sectors from service.
No amount of running disk utilities will help.
It's a good idea to be set up to deal with such situations for when the time
comes, which will happen to most of us at least once during our computing
lives.
Alternate drives for temporarily storing the offloaded data from the bad
drive, etc, bootable discs, etc.
Also, Disk Warrior fixes stuff that Norton is not able to, and perhaps vice
versa.
