Want to get a CD drive for my S900 that is Apple compatible? Or does anyone
know which ones are? Thank you.

Look for one for sale on the LEM Swaplist that is described as "Apple ROMmed"
or post a "want-to-buy" there ($15-25). They can be either IDE or SCSI,
decide which is better for your configuration. Occasionally the Apple 24X IDE
drives pop up there.
Barry,
If you have a few extra dollars to spare you can probably buy a CD burner that is Apple ROMed. The older, slower models are very reasonable priced now, especially the SCSI ones.
You don't have to install it internally either. Alan Kim has always had great success booting his S900 from an external CD-RW drive. Maybe Alan will be kind enough to post some details.
David Rodriguez who is a member of this group often has very nice CD-RW drive for sale on the LEM swap list.
We put an Apple ROMed CD drive in our C600 a few years back. We definitely don't miss the original CD drive!
