For anyone who likes to solder you can make your own 4.5 volt batteries from a 9 volt battery.
Buy an Energizer 9 volt and tear it apart, inside are 6 batteries. Just take 3 of the cylinders and
solder an old 4.5 volt battery mobo connector to it with 2 jumper wires so it has a complete circuit.
You can make 2 from each 9 volt battery and they have worked perfectly for me.
It takes a little time but it beats paying $15 for one at Radio Shack.
