Can anyone recommend a bootable CDRW or DVDRW drive? EIDE type. One that will work in a G4?

I've given up on fixing my SuperMac. I was running Techtool and the sound test came up with a dead left channel. I think this is why it locks up when I try and burn music cds through Spin Doctor. I suspect it needs both channels in order to function and the s900 hasn't worked right since the speaker started going flakey.

Anyway, bought a G4 that came with a sony CDRW that is an 8X piece of crap that isn't bootable.

I'd use my TDK VeloCD, but it isn't bootalbe either.

I would like to thank everyone for all your help in the past.

Mark Murphy
