The C600 is just as limited in memory as the C500 -- 144MB. By default, both used the 1MB VRAM on the logic board, which was obviously severely limited. A few C600 configurations shipped with 2 or 4 MB video cards. One of these was the Matrox Mystique. This shipped with the C600x/280. The TwinTurbo would be an improvement over the built-in VRAM, even if it's only the 2MB variety of the card.
