It has to either be a hardware(card) or software issue. The fact that the card was replaced with another one by Sonet does not prove it's design isn't defective, does it? I posted an exerpt from the Dealmac Forum a while back; in which a person loaded Jaguar using aSonet 800 G4, then was able to load Panther on top of Jaguar. He also mentioned being unable to load Panther "from scratch", but the piggyback load was working.There just may be something in the hardware that prevents a full load but allows an update to work? You can't get your 700 card to work either? Mine still isn't working under OSX, it's not the card since Sonnet swopped it for me.
