Will S > > Thanks to all who have offered ideas. I was able to run the dvd player through an analog to digital converter and record it back onto the hard drive with iMovie. Then I took frames and made stills. They turned out okay, but kind of grainy. I'm going to take some time tomorrow to see if I can go back and save each frame as a Mac Pict file instead of compressing it into a JPG. Then I'm going to save it at a much higher resolution. After that I'll PhotoShop it a little with Photoshop Elements. Maybe I can make them a little better. The kid who took the video had most of it on his hard drive. He sent me the raw video files on a dvd. I may try to run it into iMovie or Final Cut Express and see if I can get a better copy that way. Even as it stands now, I was able to get some excellent shots of my son, Joey from this summer. Thanks again. Mike
