The middle pin on the fan connector is power (12V) and the two outer
pins (1 & 3) are ground, IIRC.  I mention the arrangement in my
article on building a power supply adapter, and when I wrote that
I had just measured the connections, so the info in the article is
accurate.  The article should be available on Kennedy's site if
you wish to check that my current memory matches what I wrote then.

Thanks Jeff,

For a fail safe install I will cut the Yellow Wire. I don't have a tool to remove it from the connector.
