Is the HP LaserJet connected via ethernet to the network, or can it be
connected via USB/parallel port to the PC? If it can be connected to the
PC, then I would connect both printers to the PC, install the drivers for
them, and then make sure both printers are shared. I don't 'do' WinXP, so
I'm not sure how to turn on file and print sharing, but in Windows
2000/win98 you simply go into your network prefs and include 'file and
printer sharing' service.

Then, from your networked OS X box, you should be able to go to the
Printer Setup Utility [in your Applications->Utilities folder] and add a
new printer. When you do, make sure the drop down menu states, "Windows
Printing" after clicking on the "Add" button. You'll then navigate to the
name of your workgroup, and both printers should show up.

If you have one of the printers hooked up to the S900, and you want to
share that with the XP box, then you will need to open the "Print & Fax"
system prefs and make sure that "Share my printers with other computers"
is checkmarked.

As far as finding out a network printer's IP, the simplest way is to go to
that printer, and print out a test page from the printer itself. It will
give you the IP one the one or two page print out. Most HPs have a menu
system on the printer that you can use to navigate to a "print test page"
or "print configuration".
