Don't attempt to turn on any printer sharing, period. Each computer should see each printer when everybody is directly connected to the hub. 2 printers, 2 boxen, 4 port port. Everybody has a port, everybody is happy.


If you feel adventurous you could try P2P TCP/IP networking over USB.
