while i've gotten my artz2 to work in os-x through the adb port, it has no
pressure sensitivity or tablet functions. it primarily just acts as a pointer
device. there is software that helps older wacom tablets function in os-x,
called tabletmagic (http://tabletmagic.sourceforge.net), but unfortunately it
still hasn't done any porting for adb.

i actually just caved in and bought a new graphire for my wife because of it.
using os-9 just for the pen wasn't convenient at all. boy it's nice ;-)
