I am having trouble getting my S900 to start up. It gets to the smiley face and then starts to re-start but then it quits. I removed everything and put it back together but it still does the same thing. I don't know what else to try. I would appreciate any ideas as to what the problem might be.

Are you able to boot from something else, such as a CD ?
If you able to boot from something else, when was the last time you ran a disk utility ?
Also, how old is your drive ?
It is not unusual for an older drive to need a complete reformatting once in a while.
