Hey Sybil
Its not absolutely necessary, but its not a bad idea either. If you prefer
not to boot from the OS CD, you could boot from a system folder on another
hd, or a zip disc. To boot from a disc other than your usual start up disc,
hold down command option shift delete on startup.
