I have readjusted the energy saver so it goes into deep sleep but it still stays on. It has been on non-stop for the last 5 years, except for vacations. I live in fear that if I shut it off it won't come back to life. Altho it always has.
But the one thing that has startled me is my new sleek 1.67 Powerbook ain't a whole lot faster than my 900. My only complaint that I never got solved is the crashes. My Sonet 800mhz card with 1 gig of ram & she would sail along for several days maybe even a week & then I'd hit the crash zone. I have yet to get this resolved. I have put up with this for the better part of 3 years.
I think I'm gonna continue to put up with it.
