Unfortunately, however, Gary seems to be on vacation or something as he (usually so prompt) hasn't yet replied to my email.
To Charles my assurance that there is no slop in the MB socket. I checked that out the same day you brought it to my attention. Nope, there just has to be something wrong with either the carrier card, the G4, or both. I promise to report back to the list with Gary's findings after the testing phase.
