The software you seek is found on the OS 9.1 install disk. You have to
do a "custom Install" to avail yourself of these choices. Paul C

the 'standard' system USB extensions had no problem recognizing the
older USB 1.1 PCI cards w/o the installation of any hardware
'specific' drivers. in fact, those older USB 1.1 PCI cards worked
just fine under OS 8.6 with only the system extensions. having to
install a 'special' extension with the new card would seem to me to be
a step backward, and i (perhaps foolishly) didn't think that was
likely. also, as steve mentioned, i thought that was all supposed to
be taken care of in OS 9 anyway. and the no-name brand PCI/USB cards i
bought didn't have any CD's, etc, to provide any hardware specific
extensions. i still have the IOGEAR card, which did come with a CD
full of mostly junk. i could double check it to see if they actually
included a hardware specific extension, and if so, try it again.
