I'm not so excited about that idea.

The really great thing about supervisor's configs is that they are readable
at a first glance.

That seems like adding unnecessary complexity. Especially considering the
fact, that program's group is not defined in program section, but somewhere
in group section. So you wouldn't be able to see all program's settings
just by inspecting it's config, but you'd need to scan the configs to find
out if it's in any group and if so, what global settings are set there..
