I will wait with great anticipation for the new driver. :) On another note, would it be possible for me to run my own recorder application directly on the camera and access a jpeg stream and record to a hard drive? We would like to build a robotic device capable of recording the video stream and I was thinking that in stead of running the recording software on a seperate computer, I could run it on the camera since it's already running linux.
