An issue I am still fighting with in photofinsish/linescan mode are
vertical erronous lines. I guess these are faulty pixels or error in
sensor pixel voltage or color... (however it does not change much if
I choose a differnt WOI region as source for the linescan)

What does it mean "does not change much"? lines stay at exactly the
same pixels when you change WOI? Or pattern depends on the used line pair?
the pattern changes depending on which line-pair is used.
but the output is not necessarily any better...
