Andrey,

Reflashing situation ist solved. The LiveCD did it.
The crc problem was with jffs during reflashing.

Andreas,

I'll look into the output in netboot mode, haven't done it fro a while.
What software are you trying to install?
And whet do you mean by "updated with crc error - it should not proceed with reflashing if the CRC error was detected. Unfortunately the image may not fit into the free RAM, so camera first reads the files and calculates MD5, if everything was correct - erases flash and reads the files again. If the network does not work reliably and MD5 were correct, but camera could not get the files later - this is the only way that it can flash wrong data (or leave flash unprogrammed)

    Hello,

I'm having trouble reflashing the 353. I wanted to update, but
the updated failed with a crc error.
The cam is now without firmware, thats why I'm trying to reflash
    with netboot.

    Unfortunately I'm stuck.

RS232 is connected and showing the boot up process for normal
    power on.
In netboot mode I get no output on the RS232.

Netboot goes through to JUMP and return 0.

The traffic monitor shows that the nfs share is accessed and the
    cam pulls the files.

I tried -cmd update, boot, all - with no result.
No output on the RS232 - is this expected in netboot mode?

Please point me in the right direction what to check next.
