Hello Akos, Current firmware version is 8.2.15, it is availble in CVS of Elphel Sourceforge project page. In terms of hardware - most advances were in the optical/mechanical parts of the camera, something we were not involved in before. Youo can find more in our blog - http://blog.elphel.com We do not plan to add new sensors to the NC353 camera, but we will definitely use more new sensors with the coming NC393 camera.
