Harry, Flash memory controllers use proprietary algorithms, so it is out of our control. I tried to contact CF manufacturer about another problem I discovered (described in this article: http://archive.linuxgizmos.com/open-source-camera-records-geotagged-video-to-sata-hdd/ ), but they could not provide me with any information. So you can play around and try to guess - what the card "likes" and what - does not.
You did not reply my questions about the image size and frame rate you have in your application, so it is difficult to suggest you anything on the camera side. Andrey
