Yakov, all NC323 used Nikon F-mount, but the overall body did slightly change. And we almost always use socket head screws (Allen). Can you send a picture?
Working with FPGA code for I NC393 I would recommend installing VDT (there is a video tutorial on our blog). Then import x393 project from Github, and also x353 - it is compatible with 10347 PCB of the NC323 camera.
