After seeking feedback a few weeks ago, the cancellation policy for the newsgroups has been updated. This post is just a heads-up, so everyone can know where things stand. In short, now posts containing personal attacks will be removed from the news server and if the poster uses a e-mail address we can use a notification will be sent via e-mail. The updated policy is at <http://www.mozilla.org/community/cancellation.html>. Note that the etiquette guidelines (linked from the policy page) haven't changed at all -- all along, nobody was supposed to use the groups for personal attacks.
