You are correct on that, of course, its Firefox that is stroing in
places.sqlite. I apologize for confusing the issue.

I think SM 2.0 is/was wanting to use places.sqlite, but, maybe, Robert
will drop by to confirm or deny this!

I note that the history is stored there, and I think you are correct, its heading in that direction. If I recall correctly, the original FF 3.0 didn't have bookmarks stored there yet.
