No.  Whether you give "http://mybank.com"; or "http://mybank.com/"; (or
"mybank.com" vs. "mybank.com/"), the browser sends the _exact_ same
request to the server.

(There can be a difference between "http://mybank.com/something"; and
"http://mybank.com/something/";.)
